CHESHIRE Wire’s under 16s Green side continued their fine season with a convincing victory over Stockport Falcons’ seconds on Saturday.

They produced a consistent performance throughout the game at Birchwood Leisure Centre to record an 87-67 victory.

Point guard Andy Massey was a big contributor to the win as he racked up the assists to be named as Wire’s MVP.

The clubs under 18s teams met each other on Saturday and it was the first team who were able to record a 61-40 success.

Meanwhile, the under 14s Green side fell to a surprise home defeat to Cheshire Phoenix Juniors, who left Birchwood with a 65-34 victory.

The under 14s White squad could not fare any better against Phoenix’s seconds, who came away as 76-34 victors.
