PHOENIX Fire boxers Casey Brown and Courtney Chadwick impressed two-weight world champion Carl Frampton with their performance on Saturday night as they won their respective bouts.
Representing GB Police community clubs in a team match against the British Army boxing team, Brown and Chadwick came away with impressive victories in front of the watching Frampton, who was the evening’s VIP guest.
Welterweight Brown, 18, defeated Dave Thompson by a unanimous points decision after dominating the second and third rounds, while 24-year-old light-welterweight Chadwick earned a split decision victory over Ben Reece-Davies.
