BEN Vickers was on fire for Warrington men’s firsts as he netted five times in their 8-1 victory over Lytham St Annes’ seconds.
Adam Garrod added two more, while captain Steve Worrall completed the scoring in a dominant display.
The women’s seconds went one better as Becky Miller and Molly Rudd both scored hat-tricks as Sale’s thirds were thrashed 9-0 on Saturday, putting them just one point outside the promotion places.
Meanwhile, the men’s seconds were thrashed 10-2 by league leaders Liverpool John Moores University.
Doug Samuels and Nick Bottomley scored Warrington’s goals, but they remain in relegation trouble.
The women’s firsts were beaten 6-0 by Alderley Edge and now sit just two points above the relegation zone with five games to play.
