RYLANDS returned to action in stunning fashion by smashing 10 goals past Cheshire League Premier Division strugglers Styal at Gorsey Lane.
Playing their first league game since December 17 on Saturday, Darren Davies’ side showed no mercy on their relegation-threatened visitors.
Kristian Bell scored five goals, while Michael Sullivan bagged a hat-trick and other goals from James Daniels and Mike Southern completed a staggering 10-0 victory.
Meanwhile, in League One, Warrington Town reserves dropped points as they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Didsbury and Chorlton reserves at Cantilever Park, with Rhys Bowers scoring the hosts’ goal.
Daten were victorious as they had a Leon Goulden brace and a further strike from James Sigsworth to thank for a 3-1 win over Tarporley Victoria, while Grappenhall Sports secured a 1-1 draw at Middlewich Town thanks to Paul Hulmes’ goal.
