18 of the basic refereeing course students with course leader Ron Naylor
A GLUT of young referees are taking up the whistle in Warrington.
Two dozen youngsters recently completed a basic refereeing course under the guidance of FA senior course tutor Ron Naylor.
And 18 of them attended a meeting of the Warrington Referee Development Group, held at Warrington Town Football Club, to be presented with their certificates.
They will now start on the road to reaching the pinnacle of refereeing by officiating at games in the Warrington Junior Football League before moving up the ladder accordingly.
