WARRINGTON women’s second team came from behind to record a 2-1 victory over their Winnington Park counterparts.
Trailing at half-time against a team who were playing two leagues above them last year, Warrington won the game thanks to goals from Emma Frew and Vicky Stout in the second half.
The firsts too came from behind away to the same club, with Kate Connolly’s goal from a short corner earning them a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, goals from Matt Pettit and Steve Worrall earned the men’s first team a 2-1 home victory over Bolton.
