NEWLY-PROMOTED Crosfields are looking for a new head coach after Tony Benson announced he would be returning to New Zealand.

Benson has led the team for two years, culminating in last season’s successful attempt at promotion from the National Conference League Division Three.

“Tony has done a great job for us in his two years in charge, culminating in us winning our division, with an expansive style of rugby,” club chairman Mike Donnison said.

“His presence will be missed and I’d like to thank Tony for his help and commitment during this time.

“I wish him and his family all the best, as they re-unite with their extended family in New Zealand.

“Our loss provides a great opportunity for an ambitious coach to take over the reins.”

The club are now inviting applications for the head coach position as they get set to embark on life in Division Two.

All applicants are expected to be qualified to a minimum of UKCC Level 2 and have proven coaching experience at Open Age level gained over several years.

All applications should be addressed to Chairman Mike Donnison via email at coaching@crosfieldsarlfc.co.uk.
