FORMER Wolves and Woolston Rovers coach Alan Kilshaw has led Rochdale Hornets to the League One title.
Hornets were victorious in France against Toulouse and their 24-22 win means they will play in the Championship next year.
There is a strong Warrington connection within the Rochdale side, with ex-Wolves winger Chris Riley among the scorers in France.
Teammates Dale Bloomfield, Jono Smith and Ben Moores are also Warrington natives, as well as assistant coach Paul Berry and performance analyst Steve Wordsworth.
And as Wolves' partner club, several of Tony Smith's squad members have boosted Hornets' cause during the campaign playing on dual registration terms.
