Dewsbury Moor Maroons 10 Crosfields 38
CROSFIELDS finished off a magnificent season in style when they defied treacherous conditions to see off a brave Dewsbury side.
A victory ensured Soap finished unbeaten away from home in National Conference League Division Three as they prepare for life at a higher level.
They drew first blood inside 60 seconds when Chris Hull backed up a break from Hayden James to score. Jack Reid added a goal.
Reid was again influential when he chipped through for Steve Pickersgill to score his first try of the season.
Fine approach play from Reid and James saw Billy Sheen provide a kick-through for Nathan James to cross, with Reid adding goals to both tries to give Soap an 18-0 lead.
Bradley Samme finally got the hosts on the board before a sensational Kieron Thomas try saw the score move to 22-4 at the break.
The hosts hit back again through Cameron Bruce, but Soap hit them with 16 unanswered points.
Taylor and Pickersgill both got their second, while Ash Cornelia put the crown on an impressive performance.
