TALENTED Warrington rower Lucy Glover got her campaign at the World Junior Rowing Championships underway this morning.
The 17-year-old sculler is part of the Great Britain team in the junior women’s quadruple sculls alongside Sheyi Blackett, Lola Anderson and Annabel Stevens for the championships in Rotterdam.
The quartet produced an assured performance in their heat to win comfortably from the Czech Republic in second and Denmark in third.
Glover and her teammates will now contest the semi finals from 3.40pm on Saturday, with the final being held the following day should they advance.
