JAMES Guy helped Great Britain into the final of the 4x100m medley relay at the Olympic Games this evening.

The former Cardinal Newman High School pupil swam the third butterfly leg as he and teammates Chris Walker-Hebborn, Duncan Scott and 100m breast stroke gold medallist Adam Peaty comfortably won the first of two heats in a British record time of 3mins 30.47secs.

The 20-year-old is looking for his second relay medal of the Rio Games after he helped the 4x200m freestyle team to a silver medal behind an American team featuring the great Michael Phelps.
