Nick Jones on his way to finishing third in Blackpool on Sunday
WARRINGTON Athletics Club runner Nick Jones added another title to his collection at the Blackpool Air Show over the weekend.
By finishing third in the Blackpool Air Show 10k race, Jones secured the Northern Masters 10k Road Championship in his V40 age class.
He now holds the V40 Northern Masters title in a staggering eight events, from the 800m right the way through to the road 10-mile race.
He finished the race on the Lancashire coast in a time of 34 mins 29 seconds.
On a windy day in Blackpool, Dave Gill also represented Warrington and came home 43rd in a time of 41 mins 43 secs.
