POULTON Park Golf Club is the latest to join a national initiative to speed up the sport.
Golf Express, which promotes 9-hole golf to inspire busy people to play more often, has been rolled out across Cheshire following a successful eight-month trial in Staffordshire.
Golfers wanting to play nine holes at the Cinnamon Brow course will be able to take advantage of the club’s weekday offer of nine holes for £11 or the weekend rate of £12.
Alison Lysons, England Golf County Development Officer in Cheshire, said: “I’m delighted that Poulton Park has decided to embrace Golf Express and promote a 9-hole offer.
“Time constraints are a common reason why people don’t play golf, but Golf Express is designed to break down that barrier and help people to fit the game into today’s busy lifestyles.”
