RYLANDS continued their excellent run in Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division Two with a 63-run win over Trafford Metrovics on Saturday.
Batting first, opener Richard Buck made 53 for Rylands before Sean Peters came in to top score with 59 as the hosts made 204-7 from their 50 overs.
In response, Sam Sparks took centre stage with the ball as he ripped through the visitors’ batting line-up with his spin bowling to take 7-24 and help dismiss them for 141.
Next up for Rylands is a home clash with Styal on Saturday.
