THROWER Gemma Prescott will compete in a third successive Paralympic Games.
The 32-year-old former Great Sankey High School student will represent Team GB in the club throw in Rio in September.
Prescott won a bronze medal in the event at the London 2012 games, breaking a British and European record in the process.
She made her Paralympics debut in Beijing in 2008 and also won a bronze medal in shot put at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
Prescott is ranked number one in the UK in the F32 club throw.
