WARRINGTON Rowing Club’s Lucy Glover had a successful weekend as part of Great Britain's team at the International Junior Regatta in Munich.
The sculler, who was a double gold-medallist at last year’s Coupe de la Jeunesse, finished second in her junior women’s double scull heat alongside Lola Anderson to qualify for the B final.
They then powered to victory in that race, finishing a mammoth 11 seconds ahead of a crew representing the Czech Republic.
Glover and Anderson then joined Meg Saunders and Hattie Orr in a women’s quad sculls.
They were first in both the heat and semi-final before eventually finishing third in the A final behind two German crews and securing themselves a bronze medal.
