RYLANDS' attempt to reach the semi finals of the Cheshire Football League’s JB Parker Challenge Cup is on hold.

Danny Salt’s side, sixth in the Premier Division, were due to visit struggling Denton Town in the last eight today, with a date against table-toppers Knutsford or Poynton a reward for the victors, but the match has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

While the top two in League Two face each other today, with leaders Lostock Gralam visiting AFC Macclesfield, third-placed Warrington Town reserves have an opportunity to take advantage when they host back-markers Litherland reserves at Cantilever Park.
