A STELLAR second round could not save Lymm’s Tom Murray from missing the cut at the European Tour’s Made in Denmark event this weekend.
Murray shot 76 on the first day but fared seven strokes better on Friday with a two under par 69 that contained an eagle on the par five sixth hole.
However the 25-year-old, who enjoyed his best European Tour finish at the Madeira Islands Open earlier this month, had double bogeyed twice in his opening round to leave himself too much to do at Himmerland Golf and Spa Resort.
Wilmslow’s David Horsey won the event on 13 under par.
