WOOLSTON A lifted the Finlayson Cup at the weekend.
A 186-130 defeat of Rylands A in the Warrington and North Cheshire Association competition showdown featured a starring role from Mike Widocks, whose 21-7 victory sent Woolston on their way.
Widest margin of victory though belonged to Billy Burlinson, 21-4 against Alan Badley, while Paddy Birmingham’s 21-6 was the best of three winning cards for Rylands A.
