Warrington pair help Vets reach semi finals
BILL Burlinson and Ray Goodhand featured in the weekend’s Cheshire team that won a regional qualifier in Stoke to book a place in the British Veterans’ County Championship semi finals.
Victories at Fenton against Greater Manchester, Potteries and Wales secured their ticket to a finals-day showdown with Merseyside and South Yorkshire on Thursday, August 6, at a venue yet to be confirmed.
