APPLETON Tigers enjoyed a five-wicket win over a strong Trinity line up in the T20 East Division.
Sami Fowler took a diving catch off her own bowling, while Jess Lewis and debutant Laura Jackson tight bowling put the pressure on before Annie Rashid took two wickets to restrict them to 76 runs.
Chloe Page took her fifth slip catch in as many games.
Emma Barlow and Fowler, 20, scored 12 off the first over. Olivia Horsfield and Rashid continued the push and got Appleton home with two overs to spare thanks to some great running between the wickets.
Appleton face leaders Oakmere at home on Sunday, 1.30pm.
