THELWALL’S Aidan Collins moved two points clear in the British Flattrack Championships with a winning start at the MCN Festival in Peterborough at the weekend.
Collins won his first two heats and took fourth in the third to put him on the front row of the grid for the 12-lap grand final.
The Warrington rider made a perfect start and did not put a wheel wrong from start to finish.
The Championship third round will be held in Eastbourne in June.
Collins was part of Great Britain’s flattrack team who beat America in the Transatlantic Trophy.
