THERE is no stopping Ashley Nemits!

The 11-year-old athlete, featured last week for becoming the first girl to run a faster time than the boys in the Cinnamon Brow CE Primary School’s cross country races, repeated the trick in a similar event at Culcheth Community Primary School.

Ashley, a pupil at Bradshaw Community Primary School, was 21 seconds faster and will tackle another cross country challenge on Wednesday.

Her clubmates started their Youth Development League campaign at Woodbank Park in Stockport, where Warrington AC finished seventh.

Megan Kettle and Natasha Ryder were the only winners in girls events – the A and B under 15s hammer with 29.87m and 17.51m respectively.

Under 13s competitor Ben Robinson won the 100m (13.0secs) and long jump (4.63m) as well as being second in the 200m (26.4sec).

Isaac Ataullah won the B 800m, smashing his previous best by 16 seconds (2mins 30.8secs), while Adam Shaw triumphed in the 75m hurdles (14.0secs).

In the under 15s boys, Thomas Baines had a double victory in the 200m (24.1secs) and 300m (38.4secs), while Joe Williams took the B high jump (1.40m).
