BOTH Warrington women’s teams ended the season with wins, and comfortable league positions of fourth.
Warrington first beat Crewe seconds 2-0 thanks to goals from Sally Froggatt and Steph Rawlins, to finish the season unbeaten at home.
Player-of-the-match Natalie Mottershead was hard to handle in midfield and Carrie Wright and Sally Prince kept the defence in check to prevent Crewe from getting back into the game.
WARRINGTON women’s seconds scored a record 75 goals, as they finished the season by beating Crewe third 1-0 with Lydia Turton scoring.
Olivia Mason was excellent in defence to keep Crewe from pulling level.
