TWO Warrington Athletics Club runners have been crowned overall Manchester Area Cross Country League winners.
In the final round at Wythenshawe Park on Saturday, Jordon Jones recorded his fourth consecutive win in the under 13s race and there was also overall gold for Ashley Nemits after winning three of the under 11s girls league outings.
Along with Maya Evans and eight-year-old Molly Wormald, who was 14th, they achieved second place in the under 11s team contest.
Jack Stubbings was under 15s victor in Saturday's final round to clinch overall silver.
Stubbings had company Sam Rostron, sixth, and Luke Gamble, ninth, as they secured the team silver medals.
Chris Fance was sixth in the under 20s men’s race, which enabled him to take second in the overall league competition.
