IT was a good weekend for the Jones family from Warrington.
Nick Jones became the Northern Vets 5km champion on Sunday, and his son, Jordan, became the under 13s Manchester Area League champion on Saturday.
The pressure was on Nick in the Bolton road race after watching his son win his event on Saturday.
But he ran an excellent race over a tough course to win in 16mins 22secs and was followed home by fellow Warrington Athletics Club runner Mervyn Ward, who won the V60 title in 20.12mins.
