AN early goal set Lymm on course for a 3-0 win against a tough Prescot side on Saturday.

Helen Weston put the North West Women’s League Division Two South West leaders into the lead after the Lymm forwards had peppered the Prescot goalkeeper with a series of shots.

Lymm doubled the lead soon after when Natalie Riley laid off the ball for Suzanne Williams to sweep in first time.

Riley scored the third in the second half to round off a solid win.

Katy Arber’s goal could not salvage anything for Lymm Ladies’ seconds at Oswestry.

They slipped to a 2-1 defeat away from home.

Lymm's thirds string became the first team this season to beat Bebington.

Lymm held on for the thrilling 4-3 win thanks to Grace Morris in goal, she saved a penalty corner in the last minute.
