Lymm 5th 0 Christleton 2nd 28
LYMM managed to field five teams on Saturday for the first time in many years, but the fifth string were well beaten by Christleton seconds.
Experienced and athletic Christleton forwards were able to break through Lymm's back line and scored some powerful tries in the first half.
In the second half, Lymm upped their game preferring a forward led approach punching holes in the Christleton rearguard.
Jason Cundick had an increasing influence threatening the Christleton line on several occasions.
Lymm did not gain the try they deserved and Christleton took the victory.
