LYMM’S Tom Murray produced a solid final nine to finish par on the opening day of the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa.
The 24-year-old, who headed out on the back nine, double bogeyed twice in three holes, failing to go below par until his 11th tee at Leopard Creek, Malelane.
However, from there he recorded another four birdies to head back into the clubhouse on 72 for the day.
Murray tweeted earlier: "Welcome to the @EuropeanTour! What a place to play golf, overlooking the Kruger National Park #special"
