Spectrum leading the way
SPECTRUM Striders Ladies hold the lead in the North West Cross Country League.
Claire Andrew, third, Vicky Walls, sixth, and Jude Peck, ninth, took top spot for Striders at Arrowe Park in Birkenhead following their victory at Clarke’s Gardens.
A combined Lymm Running Club, Warrington Road Runners and Helsby AC team placed eighth.
The men’s combined team came third, with best local performances coming from Karl Steinegger, fourth, and Chris Millington, 12th, both of Spectrum Striders.
Spectrum’s ladies take a solid advantage into round three.
