Oldham 3rd 24 Lymm 3rd 20
LYMM found themselves on the wrong end of a last-minute winner when they travelled to Oldham in the Lighting and Building Services Bowl on Saturday.
The visitors went ahead with two tries from Lawson and Jones before Oldham hit back with their own.
Lymm reasserted their dominance with a double from 17-year-old Oscar McCormick on his senior debut.
However, Oldham recovered to force a winning try on the last play of the game.
Lymm return to league action on Saturday at Liverpool vets, 2.15pm.
