Grappenhall Sports 1 Lostock Gralam 1
GRAPPENHALL were held to a draw against Lostock in Cheshire Football League One on Saturday but manager Darren Davies says his side see it as points dropped.
The game was end to end in the first half and Sports were aggrieved not to be given a penalty for handball.
The deadlock was broken on 65 minutes through a Jordan Rigby finish.
However, within moments it was 1-1 when Lostock pounced on a rebound.
The game continued to be even but Sports missed the best chance to win it when a Dan Sisson header was saved shortly before the whistle.
“I thought we did ok in patches but we see this as two points dropped,” Davies said.
“It was disappointing to concede so soon after going in front but credit to them they worked very hard.
“We have three or four back next week and I think it will be good to freshen up the side and try and hit a decent run of form.”
Fourth-placed Sports host bottom side Tarporley Victoria on Saturday, kick off 2pm.
