Moore 2nd 33 Winnington Park 2nd 19
MOORE avoided a first-round exit of the Cheshire Bowl competition with a win over Winnington Park on Saturday.
They began to penetrate the Park defence and were soon 12-0 up but sloppy play gave the visitors a clear run to pull back seven points.
The rest of the first half saw a try at each end to keep the score within seven points at half time.
Moore defended well in the second half and their attacks saw several tries, with a final score of 33-19 to take them into the second round of the competition.
