FOUR rising sports talents have received a funding boost.
The Knowles-Jones sisters Harriet, aged 16, and Emily, aged 18, along with Joe Cummins and Kelly Chadwick, both 15, are the first recipients of cash awards from a £3,500 fund established by Active Cheshire and BiG Storage.
The money is to pay for training, kit or travel to competitions, aimed at helping the Warrington youngsters realise potential.
Emily swims for Stockport Metro, Harriet competes for Warrington Athletics Club, Kelly runs for Sale Harriers and Joe plays basketball for Cheshire Wire.
