Old Anselmians seconds 20 Lymm thirds 19
LYMM thirds missed out on their first victory of the season on Saturday with a one point defeat at Old Anselmians in Division Three South.
Lymm produced a heroic comeback after going 17-0 down with three second-half tries putting them ahead going into the closing stages of the game.
They were winning 19-17 with 10 minutes to go and were desperately trying to hold on to their lead, but a converted Anselmians penalty resulted in all too familiar defeat for the thirds.
Lymm: Norcott, Pawsey, Barrett, Wright, Merrils, Hickman, Chesworth, Potter, Woolvine, Forrest, Hill, Mallet, Adi, Lawson.
