GRAPPENHALL rounded off their Cheshire County top flight season with an emphatic six-wicket victory over already relegated Urmston at Broad Lane.

At 66 for 2 Sam Guest, 7 for 49, and Gaz Burns, 3 for 37, already with a wicket apiece, tore through the rest of the batting order, bowling Urmston out for 120 in the 38th over.

With Jimmy McCoy joining the skipper, Richard Green, the runs continued to flow until Green was stumped for 30, and McCoy bowled for 44.

Mike Parton finished things in the 25th over when he deposited the ball over wide long on for six.
