GLAZEBURY seconds rounded off their Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division Four campaign on Saturday with defeat to league champions Wilmslow.

Glazebury reached 32 for 0 before being reduced to 69 for 7.

Gary Dunlop, 15, and Harry Barton, 13, made starts without going on to a bigger scores, but then a fine innings of 31 from Alex MacArthur helped the home side get up to 133.

Chris Ayre then gave Glazebury the perfect start as he cleaned up both Wilmslow openers for ducks, before four wickets for Sean Caine reduced the champions to 51 for 7.

However, a fine unbroken stand of 83 took Wilmslow to their target at 134 for 7.
