Amir blasts Stretton into play-off spots
MOHAMMED Amir’s 101 helped Stretton chase down 132 in under 19 overs to complete a six-wicket victory over Holmes Chapel.
Amir’s knock, including 13 sixes, followed 2-22 with the ball in a man-of-the-match performance.
Adnan Ashraf, 3 for 34, helped reduce Holmes Chapel to 131-9 before Amir’s arrival lifted Stretton into the Cheshire Alliance League Division One promotion places.
