WARRINGTON'S recent run of form deserted them as they were beaten by 120 runs at Tattenhall in the Cheshire County League Division Two.

Tattenhall posted 243 for 9 as they set about the Warrington bowling.

Kyle Adams, 3 for 73, stuck to his task and Barrie McIntosh finished with 6 for 83 after claiming three late wickets.

Warrington found themselves two wickets down after two overs before Chris Kirby, 46, and Andy Kirby, 14, produced a minor recovery.

However, no other batsman made double figures until Tom Clutterbuck batting at eight registered 22 as a tired set of visitors were bowled out for 123, giving the home side a clear victory.

Ryan Swart took six wickets as Warrington seconds recorded a huge victory over Tattenhall seconds in the Second XI Division One on Saturday.

Swart finished with figures of 6 for 29 in 17 overs as Tattnehall were bowled out for 86 after 37 overs.

Tom Higham, 23, and Chalie McElroy, 51 not out, gave Warrington a well-earned nine-wicket victory.

Warrington fourths were beaten by 49 runs against Sale thirds in the Third XI Division Two on Saturday.

Sale posted 180 for 9, despite the best efforts of Dave Lee, 3 for 46, and Raj Soni, 3 for 46.

Warrington were off to a steady start in reply with an opening stand of 44 between Rob Dempster, 22, and Matt Jackson, 18, before Tom Corroboy came in to rack up 31.

However some poor shot selection by the middle order saw Warrington bowled out for 131.
