GLAZEBURY maintained their top form as the newly crowned Cheshire Cricket Alliance Cup holders made short work of The Groves in their Cheshire Alliance Division One clash on Saturday.
Having elected to bat first, the Wirral side had no answer to Glazebury's pace attack as Sam Stanier, 4 for 20, and Tom Wilkinson, 5 for 20, bowled The Groves out for just 56.
Glazebury then eased to 60 for 2 inside 11 overs of their reply with Dave Acton's 25 not out leading the charge.
Glazebury seconds defeated Appleton thirds in Division Four at Hurst Lane.
The hosts made 226 for 9 in 45 overs before dismissing Appleton for 151.
