EAGLE fell to a late defeat against North West Counties Premier Division side Stockport Sports in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

Eagle started the game strongly and showed they were a match for the side two divisions above them when they took the lead through Stephen Robinson.

The away side continued to play well but conceded two second-half goals to narrowly miss out.
