Woolston Rovers A 8
Latchford Albion 30
WOOLSTON Rovers became the latest to fall victim to Latchford Albion’s unbeaten run as table toppers in North West Men’s League Division Two.
A try from returning centre Cameron Davies gave Latchford the lead but a response from Lee Fazackerley left the sides level at 4-4 going into the break.
Tom Fagan’s try in the second half proved to be not enough for Rovers as Latchford stepped up a gear.
Albion started to control possession and Adam Wood finished off a good handling move, with Dobson converting.
Kyle Sherratt used his size and power to score and any hopes of a home side comeback were dashed when Craig Middlemore received a great pass from Danny Brown to burst through.
Craig Woolvine crossed next following a good break by Chris Joynson.
Latchford ended the scoring when hooker Dave Saunders spotted a gap and sneaked over.
