Why should I watch?

If nothing else, tonight is a chance to see Warrington Town make a little more history.

This is already Yellows’ best run in non-league’s premier knockout competition for a quarter of a century, and victory tonight would take them one step closer to emulating the team of the 1992-93 season.

They reached the quarter-finals that year, and a win tonight would earn them a place in the last-16 and a trip to National League South side Wealdstone.

Furthermore, Yellows have a shot at finally finishing Ebbsfleet off – as they deserved to do on Saturday.

Having belied the 39-place gap between the sides in the football pyramid with a superb performance in Kent, only to see Sean Shields snatch away the chance of a famous victory in injury time, belief is higher than ever that Paul Carden’s side can finish the job tonight.

What they’ve said

"We’d have taken a replay before the game, it’s just the manner of it that’s disappointing.

"We scored a great goal and we deserved to win on Saturday.

"We’ll see how much they want it on Tuesday night now up north in Warrington."

Paul Carden, Warrington Town manager

“We’ve got to go there and compete.

We know what it’s going to be like. The pitch will be similar to ours, not in great nick.

“It’ll be competitive, there’ll be flying tackles. You’ve got to go and enjoy that and roll your sleeves up.”

Daryl McMahon, Ebbsfleet United manager

Numbers game

Warrington have already won three FA Trophy ties via replays this season, overcoming Ashton United, Tamworth and Altrincham at the second time of asking.

Warrington team news

Defender Jack Higgins serves the final game of a suspension, while goalkeeper Tony McMillan and midfielder Sean Williams will have checks on calf injuries.

Shaun Beeley and Brad Barnes both came off the bench in their returns from injury on Saturday, so could be options to start.

Ebbsfleet team news

Fleet manager McMahon faces something of a defensive injury problem, with Kenny Clark and Chris Bush both set to miss the game.

On Saturday, Jack Connors came on at left-back to replace Bush, with Sam Magri moving inside to partner skipper Dave Winfield in the centre of defence.

One to watch

Jamie McDonald

Town’s top goalscorer may be on a bit of a lean spell by his standards, but he has taken the FA Trophy to heart.

Eight of McDonald’s 11 goals for Yellows this season have come in this competition.

While he may not have found the net in his past four games, McDonald looked extremely lively at Stonebridge Road on Saturday and had an intriguing battle with Fleet centre-half Dave Winfield, with the pair locking horns on more than one occasion.

Expect to see that rivalry resume this evening!
