WARRINGTON Town’s pre-season friendly against Colne tonight, Tuesday, has been cancelled.
Heavy rain meant the pitch at Holt House has been deemed unplayable.
A pitch inspection is planned tomorrow morning to determine whether the game can be rescheduled for the evening.
This will no doubt increase frustration for Yellows boss Paul Carden after a friendly at Trafford on Friday was also cancelled.
Town have one pre-season friendly remaining, which comes on Saturday when they welcome Welsh Premier League side Airbus UK to Cantilever Park.
Yellows kick off their Evo-Stik Premier Division campaign at home to Rushall Olympic the following weekend on Saturday, August 12.
