AMBITIOUS Warrington Town's fixtures for the 2017-2018 Evo-Stik League Premier Division season have been announced.

Paul Carden's new-look side, which includes seven new signings and could feature up to four more before the opening game on August 12, will start the campaign at home to Rushall Olympic.

Last season's contest marked Carden's first win in charge of Yellows, a 2-0 success courtesy of a strike by then skipper Ciaran Kilheeney and an own goal from Henry Eze.

The promotion hunters will visit Lancaster City three days later and games will then start to come thick and fast.

Highlights include a trip to Witton Albion on Boxing Day, a home date with Marine on New Year's Day and for anyone who fancies an Easter weekend by the sea-side then Yellows will be at Whitby Town on Saturday, March 31.

Witton Albion will then visit Cantilever Park on Easter Monday.

A midweek trip to Workington in Cumbria on Tuesday, September 5, is a big ask of supporters, and anticipation will be high for the visit by Altrincham on Saturday, October 21.

The final fixture sees Town visiting Stourbridge on Saturday, April 28.
