WARRINGTON Town will look to continue their play-off push tomorrow, Saturday, when they welcome Frickley Athletic to Cantilever Park, kick off 3pm.

Following Tuesday’s 1-0 victory over Mickleover Sports, Paul Carden’s side capped their recent resurgence by moving back into the Evo-Stik Premier Division’s top five.

Yellows boast a record of five victories from their last six league games and in Ruben Jerome, they have a striker who has scored five goals in as many outings.

A LOOK AT THE OPPOSITION:

SATURDAY’S opponents Frickley make the journey over the Pennines hoping to avoid a third defeat in a row.

They are still flirting dangerously with relegation as they sit 19th, five points above Sutton Coldfield Town, who occupy the final spot in the drop zone.

Tuesday saw them lose 5-1 at runaway league leaders Blyth Spartans after a 1-0 home loss to Hednesford on Saturday.

However, they had shown some encouraging signs before that by winning three out of four games, including against Town’s play-off rivals Matlock.

YELLOWS made it back-to-back victories and maintained their play-off push with a comfortable victory on the road.

Scott Harries opened the scoring in the first half before Samuel Ilesanmi and Dan Hattersley struck after the break to secure the three points.
