WARRINGTON Town will look for their third league win in a row tomorrow, Saturday, when they welcome Coalville Town to Cantilever Park, kick off 3pm.

The fact victory tomorrow would give them three wins on the bounce for the first time this season is in itself a mark of the inconsistency that has plagued them, but victories over Halesowen and Stourbridge have reignited their play-off hopes.

Paul Carden’s side currently sit 11th in the Evo-Stik Premier Division, with the gap between them and the play-off spots being cut to five points.

A LOOK AT THE OPPOSITION:

YELLOWS’ visitors on Saturday are Coalville Town, who are on a poor run of four league games without a victory.

However, The Ravens do arrive at Cantilever Park with a reasonable away record having won seven times on the road this season. Only leaders Blyth Spartans and Nantwich Town have won more away games this season than the Leicestershire club.

They sit in the lower reaches of the table in 17th, but a 14-point cushion above the relegation places means they are in no real danger of the drop.

LAST MEETING:

Coalville Town 1 Warrington Town 2, Saturday, September 24, 2016:

WARRINGTON made it three wins from four games as they survived a late scare to leave Leicestershire with all three points.

After Steven Gillespie had given them an early lead, it looked as if Yellows were on target for a comfortable victory when Ciaran Kilheeney doubled their advantage with time running out.

However, Massiah McDonald pulled one back in injury time for the hosts to ensure a nervy finish but Yellows hung on.
