WARRINGTON Town’s home game against Marine has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The sides were due to meet at Cantilever Park at 3pm today, but a pitch inspection found the playing surface was unplayable.
This means both of Town’s home games over the festive period have fallen victim to the cold weather after their game against Spennymoor Town on Thursday was also called off.
In a further frustration for Yellows boss Paul Carden, Saturday’s trip to Stourbridge is also having to be re-arranged due to The Glassboys’ involvement in the FA Cup third round.
By the time Carden’s side return to action at Corby Town on Saturday, January 14, they will not have played a game for nearly three weeks.
