Grantham Town 1 Warrington Town 2
A LATE winner from Ciaran Kilheeney allowed Warrington Town to extend their unbeaten league run to four games with a 2-1 victory at Grantham Town on Saturday.
The Yellows had to come from behind as Luke Shaw slammed home the rebound after Jay McCarten had blocked a shot to give the home side the lead on the stroke of half-time.
Stuart Mellish’s side put Grantham under pressure after the break and finally broke through when Kilheeney tapped in Ben Deegan’s knock-down from a corner.
The Warrington skipper then had the last laugh when Deegan again found him with a pull-back and he remained cool to secure the victory.
