WARRINGTON Town's eight-game winning streak was brought to an abrupt end by Burscough last night.
A 3-1 defeat saw Shaun Reid's side slip off the top of the league and behind leaders Northwich Victoria on goal difference.
Former Yellows striker Will Jones netted twice, with Eddie Toner's effort for the visitors meaning Daniel O'Donnell's reply for Town was merely a consolation.
It was the hosts' first defeat in 12 outings.
